Department of Homeland Security

THE BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT (ICE)
The professionals of ICE conduct high-stakes law enforcement activities throughout our nation — making widespread access to the most recent shared data a vital concern. Dev Technology, working with our prime contractor, provides ICE with advanced data and database consulting services, as well as application development. Areas of focus include enhancements to the Enforcement Systems, Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), and Management Systems portfolios.

BUREAU OF CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES (USCIS)
To effectively enforce Federal law, USCIS agents require access to a vast database of records. To ensure its ability to accomplish its critical mission, USCIS has embarked on a major effort to migrate its records from legacy systems and applications. Dev Technology is working as a subcontractor within the Office of Records Services, providing application and database design and development and data migration services.

Department of Defense

In order to ensure appropriate access to defense locations and benefits, the Defense Manpower Data Center provides systems that allow the military to collect and maintain accurate, readily available manpower and personnel data. Working with our prime contractor, Dev Technology provides database administration and system support for multiple theatres across the globe. Our personnel ensure the war fighter and their support organizations have ready access to the personnel information they need to make critical decisions.

Department of Justice

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) operates in one of the most high-stakes arenas of law enforcement. To accomplish its mission, ATF utilizes a vast network of databases. In collaboration with our prime contractor, Dev Technology provides database administration services for all production and IV&V databases. To ensure continuous availability and user access, our team implemented and maintains the BMC Remedy IT Service Management suite including help desk, asset management, change management, and performance monitoring functions.

In another functional area within the Department, the Office of Justice Programs provides leadership and services for hundreds of law enforcement organizations in communities and jurisdictions across the country. As a key teaming partner, Dev Technology provides data strategy services and database administration to enable the Office to maximize the availability and reliability of its data resources.

Department of Energy

One of the essential areas of responsibility of the Office of the Executive Secretariat in the Department of Energy is management of documents, records, and information. Dev Technology is serving to modernize the Office’s existing document management system. Working as a subcontractor, we are providing a combination of business process expertise, Microsoft, and EMC Documentum support to upgrade the capabilities and functionality of the system.

Department of Treasury

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FINCEN) protects the nation’s financial systems from a variety of financial crimes, including terrorist financing, money laundering, and other illicit activity. Working as a subcontractor, Dev Technology provides data modeling services for FINCEN’s logical, physical, and metadata models to enable FINCEN to support a nationwide network of law enforcement, intelligence, and regulatory agencies with shared financial intelligence and analysis.

Department of Agriculture

To increase its ability to effectively protect the nation’s vast natural resources under its oversight, the U.S. Forest Service is seeking to migrate its legacy Oracle Forms applications to a J2EE compliant architecture. Working with our prime contractor, Dev Technology is assisting with the migration process.
