Java/J2EE Developer
 Dev Technology Group, Inc. has immediate openings for Java/J2EE developers and is looking for exceptional candidates to be a part of a team working on a government project under the Department of Homeland Security. Several years experience with Java/J2EE is required. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred and the candidate must have the ability to obtain a favorable government background investigation.

Oracle Developer
 The position will work with a small team to develop, modify and maintain a critical application. Successful candidate must have the ability to obtain a favorable government background investigation, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Required Skills:

Successful candidates will have five plus years of experience in the following areas:

Integrating application requirements into database objects; Developing Oracle database objects (tables, packages, etc.), developing Oracle-based client-server and web applications, Knowledge of Oracle utilities (IMP, EXP, SQL Loader).
Oracle 9i, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Designer, excellent communication skills, experience with full project life cycle development methodologies. Familiarity with: web based application development, ad hoc query tools and SQL development tools. Related degree desired.

Oracle 9iAS, Oracle 10g, 10gAS, Oracle Spatial, XML, J2EE, and SDLC/SLM, Oracle Discoverer 9i, ETL, data warehousing, and data modeling

Staff Accountant
 We have an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant to work in our Reston, VA corporate office. This position is ideal for someone looking for a range of responsibilities with growth potential working with a small team. We are looking for a proactive self-starter that values individual and team success. The Staff Accountant position will provide broad accounting support to the Director of Finance and Contracts in the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, general accounting activities and subcontract administration activities. Qualified candidates should possess the following education, experience and skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting required with a minimum of one year of related accounting experience with accounting software and reporting experience (Deltek GCS Premier preferred).
  • Proficient with MS Office suite and strong keyboarding/typing/keypad skills. Must have Excel expertise.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of basic GAAP accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of government contracting industry and federal travel regulations highly desired.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
