Oracle Developer
Washington, DC and Northern VA
Dev Technology Group, Inc., a growing provider of IT services to meet the mission critical needs of government, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Oracle Developer in Washington, DC and Northern VA (Herndon, Reston, Falls Church, Alexandria). The position will work with a small team to develop, modify and maintain a critical application. Successful candidate must have the ability to obtain a favorable government background investigation, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Required Skills:
Successful candidates will have five plus years of experience in the following areas:
Integrating application requirements into database objects;
Developing Oracle database objects (tables, packages, etc.),
developing Oracle-based client-server and web applications,
Knowledge of Oracle utilities (IMP, EXP, SQL Loader).
Oracle 9i,
SQL, PL/SQL,
Oracle Designer,
excellent communication skills,
experience with full project life cycle development methodologies.
Familiarity with: web based application development, ad hoc query tools and SQL development tools.
Related degree desired.
Desired Skills:
Oracle 9iAS, Oracle 10g, 10gAS, Oracle Spatial, XML, J2EE, and SDLC/SLM, Oracle Discoverer 9i, ETL, data warehousing, and data modeling
Non-Tech Skills:
good communicator, ability to work well in a team environment and with the customer
